I am Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics, Systems and Communication (DISCo) of the University of Milan Bicocca. I am member of the INSID&S Lab – INteraction and Semantics for Innovation with Data & Services and I collaborate with the MIND lab. Between August 2010 and February 2011 I have been visiting the ADVIS Lab of the University of Illinois at Chicago as a post doc. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Milan Bicocca in 2006 with a thesis about logic-based modeling of event correlation in pervasive computing systems.
I am the coordinator of the H2020 project EW-Shopp: Supporting Event and Weather-based Data Analytics and Marketing along the Shopper Journey (http://ew-shopp.eu/). My research interests concern artificial intelligence and data integration, with a focus on semantic matching methods and knowledge exploration.
