Greta Greco
Phd student - XXXVI cycle
I am an executive PhD student in Computer Science.
I am working with Professor Palmonari on neuro-symbolic approaches to fairness and bias mitigation in classification problems.
Concurrently, I am Senior Data Scientist at Intesa Sanpaolo, leading a team of professionals designing and implementing end-to-end data-driven projects. My work supports multiple business divisions, including commercial and investment banking, credit risk, and operations.
In the last few years, I have been active in Algorithmic fairness; as a member of the company's Ethical AI committee, I co-authored the rules and guidelines on the specific field and developed tools for measuring discrimination in AI projects. With a background in the Physics of Complex Systems, I graduated from the University of Turin in 2015 with a thesis on stochastic processes applied to language dynamics.
