GOFORIT project
The experience before departure.
GOFORIT project aims to offer a new service capable of promoting and facilitating access to tourist infrastructures for people with disabilities and special needs. This can be achieved through an innovative and technologically advanced information system that is based on augmented reality and IoT. The idea behind the project is that it’s the end user who has to evaluate the real conditions of accessibility and usability of a destination.

Thanks to GOFORIT the user can obtain a visualization in virtual reality which allows, on the basis of the set requirements and using the prototype, to project himself within a cultural site, a hotel, or a route, acquiring with precision and immediacy all the relevant evaluation elements to consciously determine the conditions of accessibility and usability of the context.
