MAPS-EH is an IT solution for monitoring the implementation of access security policies on IT systems in the healthcare sector. The product provides comprehensive support for the automatic verification of compliance between access events recorded on IT resources and the security policies established by an organisation, enabling the automatic detection of any anomalies.

Description
The project proposal aims, through an appropriate execution of scientific and technological transfers, to define a new solution, consisting of a software product and an application methodology, with the objective of achieving better coverage, efficiency, flexibility and cost-effectiveness, compared to currently available solutions, for monitoring the implementation of IT security policies. In this context, security policies define the access rules to an information system (e.g., information system for the management of patient data in psychiatric wards).
